Just an update on KartMania 08 to let you all know what is happening this year.
Lee Capenhurst has joined KartMania as Promotions Director, his primary task is to help promote KartMania to circuits and clubs leading up to the November show.
As with most shows when you go year after year it always tends to look the same even if you try to change the layout, this year we are using hall one for the main show and an Marquee that leads off straight from the hall so the whole show is under one roof, the marquee is a purpose built 60m x 40m metal frame unit that is used for the dirt bike show. This means the layout will all change and will look completely different even for returning visitors which I feel is important.
The main exhibitor display will be in hall 1 with the stage in the centre of the hall and the marquee will house the Kartboot, starting karting section, historic and new for this year the workshop seated area and corporate karting.
We are having a designated area for the corporate manufactures and distributors and will cover everything from karts to balaclava's to tea making machines, anything that is used in corporate karting, I will write and personally invite all the corporate circuits to the show to help promote this new addition.
This years advertising will be via Karting Magazine, circuit programs, desk display units leaflets and posters to all circuits (185 so far), desk display units leaflets and posters

to all kart shops and distributors 231 so far (if you can send out leaflets with your orders please let me know), Motor Sport News in October and November, and every weekend my son Lee will be visiting corporate circuits that run arrive and drive events promoting to the drivers, we are concentrating more this year on new drivers instead of the MSA side of karting who mostly know about KartMania. I will also be using the web sites throughout the year UK Karting, kartfinder.com, Italiankart.com Karting1.co.uk and others. During the year over 125,000 leaflets will be distributed, if you have any other ideas please let me know.
The fashion show will be back, this year bigger and better and also the auction will take place on Saturday and Sunday afternoon.
The Web site is really attracting hits and if any exhibitor or team would like to include any press releases or information about their company or products, also if teams have any drivers with their own web site or information about themselves then please send it over to me and we will build it into the web site, the more information we receive the better.
Exhibitor packs have already gone out so please let me know if you have not received one and if you could return the booking form as soon as possible to ensure your space please, I have already 3 new exhibitors that have confirmed and more enquiries so this year we will definitely be the UK's Premier Kart Show.
