The Association of British Kart Clubs (ABkC) was formed in 1990 to act as an interface between kart clubs and the sports governing body, Motorsport UK, with whom there is a high degree of discussion and co-operation. Historic Karting
evolved from a group of enthusiasts who attended Shenington KRC’s fortieth anniversary race meeting in June 2000 to demonstrate their old karts and following that event, it grew rapidly with The British Historic Kart Club being formed in 2005. The club now has around 300 members, and historic karting has over 2000 Facebook followers and is a recognised branch of karting in both the UK and Europe.

Karting North East
Karting North East has nearly 30 years of experience providing karting as well as other motorised activities. Our main circuit was laid in 1996 and remains the centrepiece of an unrivalled facility.
The 1200 metre circuit is both fast and technical, and with our hire fleet consisting of 40 390cc karts, 16 160cc junior karts and two twin seaters, it’s an unforgettable experience. We also have a junior training circuit for younger novice drivers which is ideal for birthday parties and first timers.
In 2019 the facility was taken on board by the Hunter family, injecting a new lease of life into the circuit with on track and off track developments.

Karting Legends was formed in 2010 to look back and promote the history of karts and karting from the 1960s, 70s, 80s and 90s.
The karts are predominantly superkarts – 250cc gearbox karts which generally run on long circuits
All the karts in the club are prepared to a high standard. They are generally put on static displays with demonstration runs at long circuit meetings with major races for cars and bikes or static displays at events such as Kartmania and the Autosport Show. Some members also attend short circuit kart events.

For over 50 years, The National Schools & Youth Group Karting Association – better known as NatSKA – has been opening the doors to motorsport for young people aged 8 to 18, removing the financial barriers that too often prevent children from ever getting a chance to compete. Our schools-based championship, operated entirely by volunteers – parents, teachers & former drivers, giving their time and energy, provides students with an accessible and inclusive route into karting. The Junior Saloon Car Championship provides motorsport for young adults between the ages of 14 and 17 years with exciting close racing at a low cost. The 2025 season is proving to be as competitive as ever with performance very close between a number of the competitors. The racing has continued to be fairly contested although some mistakes are made as these younger drivers find their feet. The championship has taken on board the Motorsport UK Race With Respect campaign where drivers, teams, parents and supporters are asked to abide by a racing code. The code is based on strong values of respect, fair play, self-control, sincerity and good manners

Fulbeck Kart Club has been established since 1959, hosting events at the circuit for Motorsport UK, IKR meetings and successfully hosting visiting championships with many returning on a regular basis.
We carry out ARKS testing every 3rd & 4th Saturdays of the month which you can book directly with the club should you wish to race at any Motorsports event.
The track is available to hire for private test days on Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout the year which can be booked via our website, www.fulbeckkartclub.co.uk at a very reasonable rate.
Fulbeck welcomes our Rookie Academy drivers on Saturdays for beginner and cadet driving with testing and racing.
Recently we have carried out major improvements to the road into the circuit, parc-ferme and added extra hard standing parking. This includes a new accessible shower and toilet facility.
We are known for our friendly welcoming atmosphere and willingness to help with well organised meetings.
The exclusive Daniel Ricciardo Series (DRS) is designed for drivers aged from 7 years old upwards and is backed and supported by F1 driver Daniel Ricciardo himself!
New for 2026 is our DRS ARRIVE n DRIVE Cadet class where drivers can race in our DRS Ricciardo n32 kart without having to buy their own kart allowing them to learn how to race before progressing up the ladder into our other DRS Ricciardo owner driver karts!
From 7 to 13 years old drivers will be able to race on the same day with the same format of the DRS owner drivers in a full-blown Motorsport UK race meeting with our DRS Ricciardo / Micro Max powered karts even using wet tyres if required!
The Daniel Ricciardo Series will be 8 rounds in 2024 with DRS owner drivers racing in DRS62 Cadet , DRS100 Juniors and DRS125 Seniors with a chance to win a golden ticket to drive in the World Finals
